Lower raw material availability and crop delays are maintaining upward pressure on products such as garlic, anise, turmeric, fenugreek and capsicum oleoresin, while greater supply is supporting price corrections in cardamom and bird\u2019s eye chilli.\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Garlic, origin China \u2014 Up<\/span><\/h3>\n

Stocks from the previous crop reached their lowest levels in recent years, which has continued to support prices for dehydrated garlic.<\/p>\n

We believe this situation may normalise if production from the new crop is higher.<\/p>\n

For the time being, the market remains slightly bullish and we will continue to monitor short-term market movements.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

Anise \u2014 Up<\/span><\/h3>\n

As mentioned in our previous report, the current Spanish anise crop remains firm in terms of prices.<\/p>\n

Cardamom \u2014 Down<\/span><\/h3>\n

Greater product availability at origin and the arrival of the new Guatemalan crop are slightly easing prices from their recent highs.<\/p>\n

Turmeric, origin India \u2014 Up<\/span><\/h3>\n

Delays in sowing and crop development caused by late monsoon rains are postponing the arrival of the new crop.<\/p>\n

With carry-over stocks from the previous crop lower than last year, the market remains firm.<\/p>\n

We confirm a significant price increase and will closely monitor the arrival of the new crop to see whether prices moderate in the medium term.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

Fenugreek, origin India \u2014 Up<\/span><\/h3>\n

Most of this season\u2019s crop has already been marketed and available stocks are limited.<\/p>\n

Hot capsicum oleoresin, origin India \u2014 Up<\/span><\/h3>\n

The availability of EU-compliant quality raw material is limited.<\/p>\n

Raw material production for the 2025-26 crop in southern India has been significantly lower than the previous year, which is putting upward pressure on oleoresin prices.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
